Single-number check
Use the free DNC checker to look up one US phone number, for example when a rep needs an answer on a single record. It returns one result for that number.
DNC screening checks phone numbers against Do Not Call sources before they are dialed. This page explains how Consaltek's single-number checker and bulk scrubber fit into a call center lead workflow, and what each result does and does not mean.
Before a lead file goes to a dialer, each number can be screened against the Do Not Call sources your operation is configured to use. A match flags a number that should be removed or reviewed before dialing. A clean result only means no match was returned for that number by the configured lookup at the time of the check.
Open the Bulk DNC ScrubberNot sure which step fits your task? The DNC checker vs DNC scrubber comparison explains when to check one number versus screen a full lead file.

Use the bulk DNC scrubber to run a lead file through the configured federal, state, complainant and TCPA litigator sources. Bulk runs use your Consaltek account.
Suppression is separate from external DNC screening. It matches a file against numbers your own organization has already excluded. See suppression list matching.
The DNC lookup in Consaltek's workflow is built on configured sources. The single-number checker runs the DNC-related checks for the number you enter. The bulk scrubber can also apply TCPA litigator and complainant checks where that source is configured. Each tool page describes the checks it runs.
Federal and state lists are separate sources — one does not replace the other. Read federal DNC vs state DNC to understand why both screens matter and how state context changes the check.
A TCPA litigator screen checks a complainant dataset as an additional layer. It is not DNC screening and does not guarantee compliance.
Screening results depend on the sources available at the time of the check. They support your review of consent, calling-time rules and recordkeeping; they do not replace it.
A common order is cleaning and deduplication first, then internal suppression matching, then DNC screening, then the final file download for your dialer. Screening a cleaned file means fewer repeated checks on the same numbers.
Lead list cleaning servicesBulk runs can produce clean, suppressed and full-result outputs, so the numbers you dial and the numbers you held back are easy to tell apart. Bulk runs are tied to your account, and your dashboard job history lists past runs.
Single-number checks return one result for the number entered.
Consaltek software results are not legal permission to call and are not legal advice. A clean result is not a compliance guarantee. Calling rules depend on consent, the type of call, time-of-day limits and the jurisdictions involved. Confirm your obligations with qualified counsel or your compliance team.
